Vacutainer Method

1. Follow hospital policies and procedures for blood sampling
2. ONLY use a luer lock tube holder
3. If you encounter difficulty withdrawing a blood sample, turn ¼ counter-clockwise back (disconnect), straighten up, PUSH, and then turn clockwise (connect) to the InVision-Plus® IV connector.
4. If the connection is correct and blood flow is not achieved, consider using a syringe to withdraw the blood.
