Cross Threading
Cross threading may occur due to the flatter threads, which are designed to be easier to clean, and this may result in a lack of activation (no flow) or syringe or tubing coming loose from connector.
Procedure- If cross threading occurs, turn ¼ counter-clockwise back, straighten up, PUSH, and then turn clockwise
- Tighten the luer lock product to ensure the InVision-Plus® Needleless IV Connector is activated.
